3rd-century BC Lion Capital of Ashoka in Sarnath. It features four Asiatic lions (three visible) symbolizing power and courage, standing on a circular abacus with a central Dharma Chakra (wheel), flanked by a bull and a horse. The motto Satyameva Jayate ("Truth Alone Triumphs") is inscribed below.
