Abstract
A powerful critique of the 2002 Gujarat violence, Baxi analyzes what he terms "holocaustian politics"—state-orchestrated communal violence that systematically subordinates minorities, establishes collective guilt, and transforms governance into a mechanism for majoritarian dominance and minority persecution through organized pogrom.
