Abstract Focusing on the interpretation of Section 306 of the IPC, this article discusses the judicial shift toward a more nuanced understanding of "instigation." Baxi examines cases where the Supreme Court has warned against the mechanical application of abetment laws, particularly in professional or marital stress situations.
